Medicare Part C Insurance
Medicare Part C, commonly referred to as Medicare Advantage, is an alternative to Original Medicare. They are plans that offer HMO’s (Health Maintenance Organization) & PPO’s (Preferred Provider Organization). HMO plans require you to see providers in the network except for emergencies.
Referrals are also required to see specialists and some other providers. PPO plans have out of network benefits but at a higher cost and are more flexible.
There are four parts to Medicare:

Also called hospital insurance for individuals who are eligible for Medicare.

Also called medical insurance, covers outpatient care.

Commonly referred to as Medicare Advantage, is an alternative to Original Medicare.

Part D
The prescription drug plan helps pay for medications doctors prescribe for treatment.
Medicare Part C
Medicare Advantage plans have many of the same benefits of traditional Medicare and more including Hearing, Dental, Vision, Over the Counter Items and Gym Membership. Coverage is provided by private health insurance companies approved by the Medicare program.
