My review is specifically for CHRIS ADELMAN who works for BC and Company and is my personal health insurance agent. I have had insurance agents in the past who did not provide very much help at all. Those were frustrating experiences. My experience with Chris was MUCH different. I was introduced to Chris by my sister. When I scheduled a meeting with her, I had two policies in mind that I was interested in learning more about. During our meeting I quickly became aware of her vast knowledge of "all things insurance" so I felt confident when I asked for specific guidance. I got in contact with Chris due to her review . Was impressed with her long time customer base. I am 63 so need to get independent insurance before I turn 65. This was the last step that I needed to take before I can retire and relax, was very scared. I didn’t know if the premium’s gonna be too much that I couldn’t afford and had to continue working. Christina helped me right from the beginning! I made one phone call to Medicaid for my mom, did the interview, sent the paperwork for her POA, then received the runaround calling number after number, only to be told that I had to call another number which sometimes was the number I had already called. I literally sat down and cried. Then a beautiful friend sent me Christina's information and in a matter of minutes she did what I could not.
